Restored Lives taking the message of recovery from divorce and separation to Japan

The international reach of Restored Lives continues to expand. Last week, Erik Castenskiold travelled to Japan to launch the Japanese translation of the course book, which offers practical advice to help people recover from the impact of separation and divorce.

What an amazing trip! Kindly hosted by publisher Shoichi Konda and missionary & church planter Tim Clark, Erik visited Tokyo, Nagoya and Kobe. He spoke to over 175 leaders who are interested in finding out more about the book and supporting people impacted by relationship breakdown in Japan.

“I received such a warm and generous welcome and was delighted that so many came to hear about the work of Restored Lives. The divorce rate in Japan is similar to the UK and they have the same needs as we do so, it would be great to give Japanese people learn the tools and help them learn the skills to experience a fully restored life after divorce.” Erik Castenskiold, Restored Lives author and Course Leader.

We are hopeful that the right English and Japanese speaking leader can be found to support the translation of the course so that more people can be supported across Japan. Please do get in touch if you know someone who may be interested.
