Westminster

Are you looking for divorce and separation support in Westminster? Restored Lives is running at Methodist Central Hall Westminster in January.

What to expect

Each evening begins with a simple meal. Then we will listen to a talk, followed by opportunities for discussion in small groups. The small groups are led by people who have personal experience of divorce. The setting is welcoming, relaxed and unthreatening. Discussions are confidential.

Who is it for?

This course is for those who are separated, those who are currently going through a divorce, or those who are already divorced, whether recent or at any time in the past.

The course is run by volunteers at Methodist Central Hall Westminster and is based on Christian values but is not religious in content, it is for people of all faiths and none. It is both practical and supportive, giving any separated or divorced person the opportunity to discuss the challenges they are facing and the tools to deal with these effectively.

Topics covered include:
Facing the effects of separation and divorce
The importance of good communication
Resolving conflict
Forgiveness and letting go
Divorce – the legal issues
Parenting issues
Moving forward with hope

“This is a very caring and professionally run course which will stand me in good stead in the future.”

Cost: £50

The cost of the course includes a simple meal, book and workbook for each participant.  Help to pay available upon request to those from low income households or full time students. Please apply by email.
